I have a large Yucca in my garden which is just growing like a thing possesed ! Now the question is "If I trim the 'baby' yuccalets can I replant them and get them going and growing ?"
Hogs
PS Not sure of the correct terminology and most of my horticultural expertise is done with a chain saw ! |

Hog's your yucca's sound like mine and what we did was cut off the babies and dug holes for them and just planted them, we now have loads of them in the garden and in fact they (the babies) are now having babies, we have given so many away to friends and neighbours but eventually we have to just throw some away.
I am not sure what I am going to do when the original ones get to big hopefully somebody will be able to advise us both on that score.
They are very hardy and there is no need to try to root them before planting them.

Hogs, if you trim off half the lower fronds before you plant them they will root better. _________________ Frankie |

Frankie, like Hogs mine are growing out of control too what is a frond? this is a serious question as I dont know my weeds from my seedlings I normally plant the seeds then pick them all back out again when her in doors wants me to do some weeding.
Needless to say I dont get asked to do that job very often but I would like to be able to tell her how it should be done.
